College Letter of Acceptance!!

Alright, it's not really a college letter of acceptance, but merely a verbal agreement to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lenke. However, I'm nearly as excited about it as I was about my college acceptances. I think what is best about Dr. Lenke accepting my case is that the ball is now in my court. It's my turn now to accept him. I like options. Always have. I feel cornered when the decision is made for me due to circumstance (like if Dr. Lenke were to have declined my case). I'm relieved that I have two viable options as of this moment (Dr. Horton at Emory Spine Clinic and Dr. Lenke in St. Louis). Both new patient appointments are scheduled within one week of each other. I like that arrangement. Less waiting. (If you've read my previous post, you are well aware that I'm not a fan of waiting.) All I have to do is wait for the Week of Appointments (like the caps?) rather than wait for one appt and then wait for the other. Once summer gets going, school and travel will pick up so my focus will hopefully shift. I am looking forward to my travels. First to Italy and then to NYC for a wedding. Then after those trips I have my birthday! One major, fun event a month until the Week of Appointments (WOA).
